Orchard opportunity

The allotment orchard project has been in the news lately, as part of the Nairn Apple Network. Some Common Good land has become available adjacent to the Sandown allotment site. The Highland Council Nairn and Cawdor Ward Area Committee is going to run a feasibility study on the possibility of community food growing on that land. The Nairn Apple Network are proposing that an orchard could be planted to quickly and cheaply bring the land into production for the local community.
